A few old Chung Ling High School (Penang) boys at the age of 35 get together to play a friendly futsal match at Megamall Futsal Centre & later to Bola-Bola Futsal Centre.
Then, more & more players (mostly decade younger) were attracted to our friendly games & ways of organising match. We grow from 5-8 players to 35-40 players todate.
We think that blanding is an important strategy in a club. Thus, we created this SOHO United FC at a night out at Autocity's bistro with the present of a few of the club committees.
Then, we ventured into playing big field match at Kulim Stadium, Bertam Mileniem Stadium, Sony Sport Club, Kilat Sport Club, etc. We also played some friendly match with a few local self-organised club, i.e. YMM FC, Orange United, Botak FC, etc.
We organised family day for our club members, i.e. gatherings held at Alwin Aw residence, John/Hock Chai residence, SUFC annual lunch (30th Jan. 2008), etc. We encouraged our club members to bring their spouse, kids, partner, friends to come & cheer during our own friendly match.
